Earthbound Angels

She taught me how to fly once, when I was just a mortal of many, looking up at a sky I would never reach alone.

We were just angels of cement, spirits of concrete. We flitted along the cityscape, dancing at the edge of the horizon while our feet brushed skyscrapers; even as the city chained us with ties of unending grey, we found freedom in the glory of motion... We were two intertwined souls searching for a way out of a labyrinth of faceless realities, light and shadow dancing into the hushed ink-blotted twilight.

Are we humans strapping on wings of paper hope; or have we become earthbound angels with wings of glass and steel?

New additions to the Carnevale line!

To celebrate the Mardi Gras festival, we have made some additions to the Carnevale line: here is Sunset Garden, a celebration of that time of day that is the veil between light and dark, a mask that incorporates both the mysterious and beguiling qualities of the night with the sparkle and forthright charm of the day.

One of the original masks in the Carnevale line, Shine, couples all of the opulence of the roaring twenties with the decadence of Marie-Antoinette.

The whisper of peacock feathers, a discreet hint of a glimmer of gold... Mystique is the very embodiment of luxury.

The Raven Calls...

Happy birthday, Edgar Allan Poe!

January 19th is the day that all closet Raven junkies and secret lovers of Victorian gothic literature come together and celebrate!

We here at Princess Ta-dam are great fans of this master of the macabre, so we decided to indulge our penchant towards his opulent and spine-chilling style by created some hair adornments based on his short stories and on the unique atmosphere of his works.

The masque of red death, so lavish and sumptuous, was perfect for the idea behind this red crystal hair clip.

The peacock feather has always had mystical associations. The soft swish in the falling twilight, the vibrant colours shining in the gloom... Perfect!
